8-hour Infection Control

This course meets all requirements of the Dental Board of California to achieve the 8-Hour Infection Control Certification. This course is mandatory for all dental personnel who work in any dental practice in the back office doing sterilization, setting up rooms, and assisting. The 8-hour infection control course is a prerequisite for taking the radiation course. 

The program outline for the 8-Hour Infection Control Course includes 4 hours of didactic (lecture) via home study and 4 hours of pre-clinical and clinical instruction at our office location in Rocklin. Once the course has been completed and all competencies have been met, participants will receive a certificate in the 8-Hour Infection Control Course.
